KUMASI CENTRAL MARKET ON FIRE

Fire broke out this afternoon at the Kumasi Central Market,it broked out at where the trader normally call 18 Mu.Fire fighters could not enter the market due to congestion. So the market kept burning for hours and days, with huge smoke seen from everywhere in Kumasi. Nobody know exactly what started the fire, some say it was a blast from a television set which some people were watching, others also say it was as a result of food, the women were cooking in the market.

Whatever, the cause, our mothers, sisters and family members have lost properties, some of these properties were acquired through bank loans and within the time specified the banks will be running after these market women. They have no choice but to pay.

Now,what they will eat is a problem.
